- 1 cup of vanilla fat-free yogurt
- 2/3 cup of frozen blueberries
- ½ cup of vanilla soy milk
- ½ teaspoon of honey
- 1 ½ teaspoons of flax seed meal
- 1 frozen banana (allow to thaw for 15 minutes)
Begin by placing your blender onto the kitchen counter and pulling out all of your ingredients. Grab your banana and slice it into small pieces, once done throw into the blender. Add in your yogurt, soymilk, flax seed meal, and honey and begin to blend all of your ingredients at the lowest speed. Blend for about 5-10 seconds until everything has combined and is smooth. Slowly begin to add in your blueberries while you continue to blend your smoothie on low. Once all of your blueberries have been added continue to blend until you reach that certain consistency you may like. Afterwards apply your smoothie into a closed juice bottle to bring with you on the way to work or school or just pour into a glass and enjoy at home.
