Baked Parmesan Fries

Cleaneatingmag.com provided us with an absolutely genius recipe, we’re talking Baked Parmesan Fries. Mmm, that’s quite the tasty meal! If you’re a French fry lover like us you’ll die when you get a load of these. The garlic and Parmesan add such an abundant amount of flavor while the French Fries remain soft yet crunchy all around the edges. You don’t need to stop at a fast-food restaurant next time your taste buds are craving a Large Fries, you can make it all within the comfort of your home. With a few ingredients you can be sitting pretty at home with your family and friends devouring these golden crunch of potatoes!

Ingredients:

  • Sea salt
  • ¼ cup of grated Parmesan cheese
  • ¼ to ½ teaspoon of ground black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon of extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 lb of Yukon gold or red potatoes, cleaned and cut into ½ inch thick strips

Preheat your oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit. Grabbing a large baking sheet place a sheet of aluminum foil on and begin to place your potatoes onto the sheet while evenly distributing your oil and sprinkling with your Italian seasoning, pepper, and garlic powder. Once your potatoes have been soaked with your ingredients begin to line them in a single layer. Place your baking sheet in the center of the oven and cook for a good 10 minutes. After the 10 minutes have been up, flip your potatoes and bake for another 5 minutes. Your potatoes should have a nice light golden color. Once your time is up, take your potatoes out of the oven and begin to sprinkle them with your pepper and salt. Don’t forget to add some Parmesan on top as well!
